Yes The only downside is the short 30 days warranty. But then again for the price you're paying, it's really good value for money.

was looking at the refurbished stuff as a standby for my old iaudio U3 whose battery isn't doing too well these day. torn between the v100 ($39) and the zen v plus ($49). i like the direct USB + non-proprietary battery of the v100 though ...

Are you referring to the zen or zen xfi? both sound pretty decent. if you need more i would say to go for the zen xfi it has so much more like xfi, better bundled earphones, wifi for chat and wireless music download
