I personally don't think you'll need an extremely good headphone (hp) for gaming and/or movies. A simple cheapo set will do, unless u are also into music, then the music hp can double up for gaming/movies. I would avoid all "gaming", "movie" labelled hp ...

I hated the fit, sold it off rather quickly ...

As an early E500 owner, YES - the early models had a bad cable ... the SE530 seems to have a better cable which is very different from the early E500 .

Sure, it's actually a simple setup. PC connected to the 0202 via USB, MS2i via the 0202 headphone out. On the PC side I playback FLAC with winamp and ASIO. Maybe you could be more specific on the grey areas and I could elaborate more.
