tks yekim! I see this kester 44 being highly recommended. I'm actually going for stuff with a lil silver in it, for its supposed audio benefit..is the kester 44 favoured cos its easy to use, or cos it actually supposedly "sounds" good too?

what exactly's bad with yer friend's system anyhow? probably just component mismatch right
-
interestin..other than the headstage. how else do you guys find that crossfeed affects sound? is it my imagination or is bass just that tad bit less with crossfeed?
-
you can be really cheap and go to places like HMV and buy a CD, rip it using EAC and monkeysaudio and then returning it for another CD. two CDs for the price of one! of course I've never done that..yet
-
congrats on yer purchase n@z. I couldn't imagine myself struggling to get used to a Mac platform
-
I think if it was affordable it wouldn't appeal as much to "audiophiles"

http://www.stereophile.com/fullarchives.cgi?280 read and make your own conclusions. teaser quote:

hmm..from the foobar page, it says the foobar crossfeed is based on "Siegfried Linkwitz's crossfeed circuit with some modifications." I suppose its the same thing. anyway..you didn't vote
-
they're small and cute and have tails. so I'd say they're just like regular..MICE
-
I was playing around with the crossfeed on the Foobar player for me, the headstage feels like this without crossfeed WITH crossfeed crossfeed seems to just put everything from beside your ears to slightly in front of the ears.. for me, its definitely not make or break.. what're your opinions?

thanks man. will go take a look when the goddam GY107s are finally in

wow. $16.90 for 500gm? that seems like hell of a deal! is it any good though? how much's the Kester 63/37? (there's no silver in it?)
-
what IS the weight of the Creek? last time I saw the Creek, the thing didn't feel like 300gm! edit: i got more to say actually..but i think i'll just leave you with the last word
-
recommendations please?
-
don't bother, Rameish. next one's a PCI card. so you won't get to play with it
-
hey, I'm very interested in these belden 89259s..are they better than the Klotz G107s? also, how's the shielding?
-
a review? nah..I'm not much of a reviewer. It sounds pretty good if you ask me, compared to my M-audio Revo, the highs seem just a lil rolled off, but cos its not actually inside a PC anymore, I get a lot less interference and funny clicks and pops

hey, mm..any UK stores you know that actually sell the X-can V2 at 126pounds? where its order-able I mean. I see it here..http://www.movement-audio.co.uk/pricelist.html 149pounds, including VAT. minus VAT, plus shipping its at least 149pounds still what..thats pretty close to the S$450 from the local dealer what. If its not a good deal, I'd say its at least a fair deal..
