  1. Maybe you can give Retrospective(Adelphi Branch) a call regarding the AD500.
  2. Jheena Lodwick: Vocalist from the Philippines but singing English songs. Very articulate and close-miked.
  3. Still For Sale This headphone is quite popular in Head-Fi actually. It is perceived to be value for money by people over there. Reviews from AudioCubes: http://www.audiocubes.com/product/Audio-Te...Headphones.html Personally, i am using the DT880 most of the time at home and wanted to clear the A500 off. I got it from Retrospective (Adelphi) last year. I still have the receipt with me as proof of purchase. They are nice people there and they will be more than happy to entertain you should any replacement of parts be needed in the future. I got the headphones from them at $160+. No scratches as they are in the box most of the time. More importantly, they are easy to drive and thus a dedicated amplifier is not necessary unless, of course, the listener is a die-heart David
  4. -SOLD- This is a commercial amplifier that i believe is good value for money given that most of the commercial head-amps sold in Singapore cost much more. This amplifier has been with me for about 9 months. Aesthetically, it is quite beautiful given its reflective-black body. Definitely nice to have if u have recently gotten the higher models of Beyer from Anything Audio during the recent sale. They really need an amp to behave. David
  5. -SOLD- Seldom-used set of Original Master Amplifier. Cosmetically no flaws as the transparent protective sticker that comes with the amplifier is still on. 6. Comes with box and the plug adapter. Works well without an amplifier. Note: i have actually removed the top film-like layer of the ear-pads to reveal the cloth+foam like pads underneath which i find is ironically more comfortable to the ears. Other than that is cosmetically and functionally good. Audio-Technica ATH-A500 Art Headphone Features # High quality Audio-Technica new generation headphones # D.A.D.S. 7. I attended the meet and must say that it is very good time spent there to audition the headphones/earphones that i often read about in reviews but have no chance to listen to until last Sunday. Really appreciated the effort of the Mackie, who organised this, and also Anything Audio at Parklane for inviting us over to have the meet.
  8. Perhaps a highlight of the coming attractions to persuade more undecided ppl out there?

  18. Yup, me interested to know too...thought that general consensus is that iRiver sounds the best?
  19. OK. Actually used the "flower" for these shots. Maybe due to the poor lighting and shaking hand?
  20. Have edited the post to be a mini-comparison. Added in: Brief History Portability Isolation Durability Conclusions Maybe u guys will want me to add other areas for comparison, pls feel free! Enjoy!
  21. Is macro mode the one to take distant shots? Difference between flex and soft flex sleeves: Flex is very hard and uncomfortable for me compared to soft flex. When i bought the package, which includes the flex & foam, i also bought, in additional the soft flex. Experimented with all three types and i prefered the soft flex. Looks nicer too! Soft flex is actually a variant of the rubber sleeves for the Sony/ Panasonic earphones type, only slightly tougher.
  22. Heyhey... i was using Arcsoft Photobase, came with my scanner. Didnt bother to install the software with my camera. Am using the Canon Ixus. Default mode i guess.
