  1. Sold thanks for looking!
  2. Hi all, its really good to be able to post here again. I know the question of SACDs Vs Redbook has been asked on Headfi itself, but i just want to hear the opinions of fellow singaporeans. Being new to SACD, is it true that most SACDs are made to be multi channel? If that is so, does that defeat the purpose of using SACDs for headphone listening? Pardon my ignorance, but can the differences btw normal SACDs and well made CDs be heard? Will SACD provide music with better, more detailed music? Or will high-resolution listening be just as good on a well-pressed CD? Is the increase in price justified ( With both SACD player and slightly more costly SACDs ) in comparision to a normal CDP and CDs? Point in case, Will getting a Philips 963A SACD /DVD ( note : not DVD-a ) player be worth it over getting a CDP for around the same price? ( say 800 ++ ?) Apologies for the multitude of questions ( haha i remember someone asking me to post questions no matter how dumb ) Thanks in advance!
  3. Wow, this is wonderful news!
  4. Hi, does anyone here actually own the HD595s? Im just curious cos it seems that the HD595s are highly similiar to the HD600s. ( The 595s apparently have some E.A.R. technology thingy though ) What are the basic sonic differences and which one is basically more musical? lastly, what are the price differences and where can i listen to them cans? Sorry, just felt like posting something....Flame away! ( BTW, the 595s look soooooooo cool ! )

  9. My updated setup. Cayin just repaired!
  10. Hm.....i doubt it. But im not very sure though. Can anyone confirm this?
  11. Hm...i've already gotten my Cayin fixed already. Its been collected and at this moment, im using it...All seems fine so far. The repair was quite cheap too. ( Frankie seems to be fine with me speaking english with him though lol )

  13. sorry for the blurry image : P
  14. Btw, i dont think its the power supply.......cos it still powers up perfectly now. Its just the transistor that im worried about. Btw, what is a burnt transistor indicative of?
  15. Hmmm anywhere i could get it checked?
  16. ok im pissed. i ignorantly changed the tubes in my cayin ha-1a and apparently they were the wrong ones. i turned on the power and i saw smoke coming out and the smell of burnt plastic. i squeeked like a girl and immediately turned off the power. removing the cover, i discovered that a single transistor on the PCB board was burnt. Qns1: Is it still safe to run the cayin without it catching fire and burning the sh!t out of me while i listen to my music ( if yes, proceed to qns 2 ) Qns 2: Is it still safe for me to tube roll the cayin without it catching fire and burning the sh!t out of me while i listen to my music ( if yes, thank you very much for your help! ) HELPPPPPPPPPP
  17. Hm....the pad itself has a nice circular shape at the back for fitting into the headphones, so the hole can be used as a guide. A simple pen-knife will do nicely.....( ALthough the edges might be a little rough ) but all in all, a nice cut ( YMMV )
  18. yes the sen pads can be used on the almost all Grado cans ( SR ones i guess ) it will set u back 10 to 15 dollars a pair.
  19. Hm i guess the word here is "dark" ( im guessing though )
