I know, i know.... Ive more or less lost touch with the headphone world after getting into speakers. Late nite listening does not allow for Tool and NIN thru my speakers. Was thinking of getting a good amp ( budget is ard 200 ) and MS-2s. I listen to lots of indie/jazz/electronica...Also, i would prefer a tube amp ( a tall order for 200, i know, but im hoping. ) I used to have the Cayin HA-1A coupled with Grado 325is in the past and hope to more or less get that same sound i used to love. ( would love to get this again, but budget does not permit. ) Thanks alot for the help.

Yest i was on bus 151 ard 9+ to NUS. Mid way through the journey i saw this girl board the bus. ( was too stoned to notice what phones she was using ), but i think she saw my Shure E4c plugged in and actually smiled abit. Later, i looked in front of me......and took a second look as i noticed what looked like IEMs! Sure enough, those looked like the Shure E3c she was using. I was quite impressed. First time im actually seeing a gal wearing high quality phones. Wanted to chat her up but too bad i had to alight first. there is hope afterall! a few days back i saw a nice angmor student in NUS wearing Grado SR60s ( but abit crazy la, open phones leh.....)

Thx Mackie, I smsed Albert and he says does carry the monitors, but isnt sure about the model. I know peak fusion carries the model im looking for; but would personally like to get more choices and perhaps try to arrange for a listen. The model im interested in uses the famed 15" dual concentric drivers that are found in the westminster royal! At ard 98 db sensitivity ( half-room), it seems like a safe bet to be driven by my Sun 2A3 ( which sadly is waiting for repair ATM...) Did u listen to the DMT 15s at peak fusion , Mackie? Those babies are ard the price range of 4-5k..
