  1. I think that Alpha Audio is adjacent to KEC. Alpha has another shop at SLS.
  2. You can check with Asia Sound on the top floor or pop by KEC to see if they carry the range you need. Prices may vary. Also check with CD Acoustics if they have used ones.
  3. No worries. Not many people uses Mogami anyway so it doesnt warrant team108 to stock a comprehensive range of their cables. To get Mogami's top of the range, you will have to travel to Japan or pay Euro dollars for those meant for the German market.
  4. I dont blame them. Demand for the pro audio sector is lower compared to the consumer market. Same goes for LHS. They dont stock many Pirelli or Canare cables either...and they have got only 1 model of the Heliax cable. If you want to try quad or double-dual configurations, Canare and Klotz has some and are available at Hung Bro. If supply is an issue, you could always order from overseas.
  5. I would say it is a fair deal. A better deal would be around the 1.3k-1.4k area. Also important - better be a local set.
  6. I saw this radio offered at NTUC in Singapore a week ago! Hmm...how much is that? Should be good for my sun bathing trips at ECP .

http://mail.team108.com/ Call Helena or Susan before going down. As for cables, my preference is pure copper over anything else.
  8. Sorry if this sounds a little thick...how do I go about attaching a file through the forum's emailing facility? There's only a 'send' button. Could you provide an email addy here so I can send the attachment (pdf)?
  9. Heh Fb..."we will be waiting..." ;P Anyhow, interesting topic. For those who has read Gary's article on Black CDR will know that the accessories (isodiscs/PS Audio PP) that were used in conjunction with the burner cost a fair bit.
  10. I've heard some. More recently, I've heard RCHP - 'By The Way'. SG pressed CD vs US pressed CD - difference: Yes US pressed CD vs US pressed 12" single - difference: fxxking alot. The differences to me is in the bandwidth, discounting the fact that the TT (LP12/ARO/Lyra Helicon/Lingo) is not in the same ballpark as the CDP (CDS1/XPS).
  11. There are currently no Reference series Headline in Sg yet. Absolute Sound will only bring them in when the olive green ones are cleared off the shelves. According to Vik, the Reference series will cost more (new fascia for both Headline and Napsc).
