A nano flashed with rockbox firmware. Rockbox is an open source jukebox firmware. Much better than the original firmware in many ways. Why choose Rockbox? Recently Kaoru Amane's (Sawajiri Erika) Taiyo No Uta single dominated the oricon charts for a few weeks. Not bad IMO. The songs are used in the Taiyo No Uta drama. Wasn't fantastic, but still worth watching. I prefer the movie version of it though.

In fact some ppl feel that Mika Nakashima has got one of the best vocals around. I was rather surprised when you mentioned she can't sing. Recently I have been listening to songs by YUI. I was quite impressed by her vocals, not great but somehow captivating. Her latest offering "Rolling Star" is used as Bleach's new opening theme. Her only full length album to date, <From Me To You>, is definitely worth the $$$ IMO. (It's cheaper ordering online through CDJapan or yesasia compared to buying at HMV.) Slightly OT, but anyone likes Lena Park?

Finally back again. Even though no one mentioned anything, I feel there is a need to have a conclusion regarding the recent incident. There are simply too many doubts and question marks surrounding forum members. This incident involved a few reputable members and it'll be unfair to either party if left unexplained. Edit: I have no idea where to post this, since the lounge is gone. I'm neither bashing anyone nor taking sides here, just expressing my views on this.

I noticed no JPOP related threads in this forum. Was searching for some singles and albums in HMV recently and couldn't really find what I wanted. Any idea where else I can find a large collection of JPOP albums? And also for people who are into JPOP, any nice albums to recommend?

Amazon is operating without a shop, thus lesser expenses. And also like someone mentioned in another thread, they are ordering in bulk, which explains the reason for the low pricing. Even other 3rd party online sellers on Amazon are selling it at above USD$100.. way above Amazon's price. Anyway, let's hope SE gives us a good price..

The prices quoted are from Amazon, but the MSRP is in fact USD$199 I think. It's unfair to convert the prices directly. After shipping and stuffs it'll cost roughly SGD$150. So I guess a reasonable price is between the $180-240 range. I'm not exactly sure of the cost price so it's just a wild guess. That small difference in price should be enough to justify for the local warranty. You can't expect shops to be selling at the cheapest price you can find on Amazon.. they need to pay rent and bills too..

But I think its powered by USB? Their website no specs at all.. only demo.

You can find the batt at worcell. Comes with instructions on how to replace it. Mine also lasts at most 6 hrs.. cos I'm using it at max volume. I think it'll last only 4 hrs + if I play only wavpack files..

In fact I experienced hanging quite a few times with rockbox already. When that happens I'll push the reset button and everything is fine again. Can't be helped since the rockbox firmware is not complete yet. Even so it still offers much more functions than the original firmware.

I felt it looks pretty good though. Only fault them on their design, still sticking out too much.

Yeah the amp needs charging every now and then. It'll always show fully charged after a while, even though it isn't. I need to plug it out and in again to resume the charging. For my H120, I'll need to recharge every 5-6 hours if I'm playing wavpack files.

Worcell sells the H100 series batts also right? Any size difference from the iPod 1st gen ones? Playing lossless really eats up the battery fast.. I have some albums in WavePack and my batt goes empty in a few hours..
