  1. Naz could you please update the names of those who are going
  2. Feel free to contact me if you want to try any of the cables I have.
  3. Well, as I said again, depending on your preference, different cable may or may not suit you. So far I am only familiar with 3 of the cables, namely the Equinoxm the Clou Red and the Oehlbach. As I have said before the Equinox gives the HD600 extention in both end of the sonic spectrum, in addition it gives the HD600 more air. IMO, the HD600 is airy enough and hence a cable to give the HD600 more weight will be preferable for me. Hence I use the Oehlbach cable or the home made Mogami cable. The Clou Red cable isn't really worth its money. As for the Cardas cable, I have no experience with it but from the conversation with Rameish, he said that the Carda harden the sounds. I am not too sure of his basis of comparison, so you need to take this with a pinch of salt. I hope this would clear some of your doubts.
  4. At the meet, coz I will be bringing mine there.
  5. For the replacement cables of the HD600. Depending on what you want, more weight or more "air", I can receommend the cable for you. Btw welcome to SGheadphones and I myself own a pair of grados and 2 pairs of senns.
  6. The two cables are of different flavours. So if I prefer more "air" to my music ie, large room recordings, I will use the Equinox. For vocals or jazz I will use the Oehlbach cables. So it really depends on my mood and the type of music. No personal preference just let the music decide.
  7. I have tried the cables out. The cables works really well with the HD600 but not with the HD650. The Oehlback seems to give the HD600 more weight in it sonic signature, which makes it sounds better IMHO. Of course the Oehlback gives better extention in both ends. I have heard the HD650 with Oehlback cables, it makes the music sounds really slow and thick.... too thick and veiled for my liking. IMO, the HD650 works best with the Equinox since it gives it more air. Just my 2 cents worth.
  8. Link to the new cable http://home.t-online.de/home/meier-audio/cables.htm
  9. The food selection is pretty bad for the price of $5 per head. I guess it will be the same as the previous meet, meaning everyone just order on their own.
  10. Naz, please add the Oehlbach Hd600/650 cable in the list.
  11. So far I can't give any fair impression yet since I only have the mogami with me and the Equinox is attached to the HD650 and on loaned to Rameish. So patience....
  12. What replacement cables from Meier? I've heard about it but did not know that it went commercial. Jan offered the cables to me when I bought the HD650 from him.
  13. Hey all just received the 2 of the new Oehlbach replacement cable from Jan Meier. Just some initial impressions, as usual trashes the stock of the HD600 but will post more and comparing it with the Mogami and the Equinox. Btw, they use the HD650 adapters which are more solid.
  14. What is the minimum number of cans one must own or used to own to qualify?
  15. Just give me your name if you feel uncomfortable. Give me a call on that day when you arrive.
  16. Based on reviews. I did not have the privilege to try both cans before buying sadly. Since you have already purchased the PX100, what's the point in asking us to tell you the PX100 is better than the PX200?
  17. I can never decide for you what sounds better. It depends on the following factors: 1) Type of music you listen to 2) Source 3) Environment 4) Isolation required?
  18. Well it is for identification purpose. If you do not wish to provide, I will be walking up and down to sign people in.
