Welcome to team 931.

yup less air. If you approach the HD650 as an improvement to the HD600 you will be utterly disappointed.
-
Any models comparable to the Cary SLI-80 or the 300 SEI?
-
Naz, yes it can be easily swapped.
-
Hey all, just realised that the HFI 650 sounds much better when you swapped the side.. ie left channel to right ear and vice versa. It is kinda weird...
-
In addition the HD650 has less air than the HD600. I have not heard a electrostatic setup before but according to my conversation with the 600 sounds more like a electrostat while the 650 sounds more like a dynamic headphones. Anyway still burning in the headphones...will give it another 300 hrs more

Hmmm strange... Why was I not informed when I bought the HFI650?
-
Okie dokie, after 24hrs of burn in, the highs are not as harsh. However it is still petty light sounding out of the Sudgen. To give the sounds some weight, I added the 120 ohm adapter. It does bright down the brightness a little. Overall it is a nice pair of headphone for its price. However my only complain is that the mid-range sounds a little weird. It sounded kinda hollow to me. Anyway will burn it in a little more before posting more impressions.
