I'm thinking of ordering MS-1s from alessandro-products.com , the feedback from headfi forums doesn't seem so good. Reading the feedback threads there got me quite worried, so I'd like to ask, people here who have ordered from alessandro-products.com, what is your personal experience? And also to stereo_electronics, are you bringing in the alessandro cans anytime soon, say within a month? If you are, I think i can wait, just so that I can have the peace of mind

i was thinking to build a pimeta.. so need to get board, cascode set, caps, and pot from tangent. offtopic: is the Wima MKS-2 6.8 µF/50 V from tangent worth the $9usd it will cost? or i can get cheaper alternatives locally?

BUF634P works as well i just tried it out, i *think* it sounds a little clearer i'm still waiting for my AD8066.. then i'll do some comparison between the AD8066s and the OPA2134s

sounds like what i got too.. i fixed it by using 2 x 9v instead of one. it works with a fresh 9v too, but then after the voltage drops, i get this "whee" sound.. isit just me and starushz ?

my cmoy2 fits in a slim mints tin without a pot.. quite a snug fit actually

the amp sounds great! i don't know all the terms you audiophiles use.. so umm probably the only thing i can describe is .. more bass! but then again, i haven't heard other amps before.. so i can't make any comparison haha i'm working on a cmoy.. so maybe i can make a comparison when i'm done with that

hihi , got the pcb from tropicalrips today.. did some soldering, but still have to wait to collect the opamps from federal on monday.. so this what i've got right now. i'm at step 11a , but i don't really know how to continue from here on.. are the holes i shaded the right ones? 2,3 and 6. so i short 2 and 3 under the board, then insert the LM6171 ontop of the board? and whats 0v wire mean? where does the other end of the 0v wire go to? do i connect it to the case? sorry i'm such a newbie >_> , and thanks in advance
