  1. Can someone tell me if the ER-6i are able to fit on Westone comply tips?
  2. The EW9 requires a lot of burning in to sound good, very nice clip on for jazz and classical.
  3. Both choices are excellent for bassheads but I think they fail at "comfort" and "clarity". I'm guessing wdEva isn't a basshead and recommend Westone UM1 for IEM and Audio Technica ATH-ANC7 for headphone ( stretching your headphone budget another $50 or so). I got a pair of ANC7 from stereo weeks ago and I'm very happy with it's performance considering it's actually a noice canceling headphone. DemonicAngelz - Peace.
  4. Did you get a good seal? Or maybe you should have tried the Westone UM2.
  5. I remember Jade gift shop used to carry panasonic discmans, maybe you can check them out.
  6. Why not give canalphone a try? They are more comfortable and provides better isolation.
  7. Jaben has other amps for you to try, I don't think they carry ibasso. Crossroad, ampseed ( or something like that) .... better call them and check yourself.
  8. Like the chinese saying "You can't keep two tigers in the same mountain."
  9. CEC CD player and the Grado RA1 is an excellent combo choice except they are constantly out of stock.
  10. Neckband? Maybe i-Grado? One of the best neckband I've heard.
  11. In term of a clear sounding earphone below $70, no doubt I'll recommend the cresyn e630/ue biflange combo ( add to only $50) excellent vocal reproduction and clean treble. It used to be a highly recommended earphone before the mylar's appeared, I have both the mylar3 and cresyn and I'll suggest the cresyn unless you find the bass too little for your preference. My 2cents.
  12. The triple10pro comfort is a problem to me too but I've talk to some who are very comfortable with them, so maybe you should try them? Then based on the choice of IEM decide which amp to go for.
  13. So which means the creative aurvana sounds more balanced than the crossroad mylar? And creative aurvana sounds just as balanced as westone um1? I'm wondering now looking at my old er-6i why are the treble and mids more prominent than the bass.... I'm just puzzled by the fact that if all single armature drivers are balanced by default then why all single armature iems all sound different, like some bassier and some not....
  14. You probably haven't step into stereo yet, in terms of range I don't think any shop in Singapore can match them. And yes, they allow you to try headphones and earphones. Best guy to look for is Aron.
  15. IEM don't use dynamic transducers? I think the Shure E2G uses dynamic transducer.
  16. Both 5eb and 5pro are dual driver iem, 5eb are designed for bassheads as the eb means extended bass and 5pro is definitely a more balanced iem but both I believe are above your $200 budget. For isolation, I would rate the UM1 follow by the mylars and then superfis. For durability, no question its the UM1. For me, UM1 provides better clarity among the lot, following the superfi 3 and then mylars. Lastly in terms of comfort, mylars and UM1 are great but definitely not the UEs.
  17. It's is much more comfortable to wear the CK1 than the CM3 or 7, and although they don't sound fantastic but definitely an upgrade to stock earphones like ibud.
  18. UM1 is my choice but you should also consider the new Panasonic HJE700 around $70++ it's quite good too.
  19. Gald I didn't wait for the Westone 3, got the E530 2 months ago and enjoying it until I feel the need to change to the Westone 3 on a god knows when it will come day.
  20. Bought one for my wife because she liked the case, soundwise..... she later kept the case only.
  21. I tried your new Alessandro MS-1 mod at your shop yesterday night when you were not around, it's damn good! what is it all about? I see the cable was different but the MS-1 sounds so different from the one I have at home that I had a feeling you did something to it....
