Woah...That's like $418 USD....Why is it that headphones that come to Singapore always become so much more expensive when compared to the States? Well, at least its the case for AKG and Sennheisers and Stax....

I still find it strange why can't we classify it as equipments>Headphones,Amps,Source Isn't it neater? My first day here was abit confusing as I had no idea where headphones should go to. Headfi seems to have done that well.

Let's be clear, there is nothing wrong about buying from Stereo, no argument there. Prices are upfront, no need to bargain. So please support Stereo if you find it more convenient to go there. For those of us who live way down south, there's SLS. After this thread, I should really consider opening a store in Harbour front. No, open one in the EAST!!! Here's another one. Tried to make something like those lomograph + punky style sort of feel. Hope you get what I'am saying...You know...those newyork subway station ads with some zest added in? Argh, and I can't add text into the picture or a more presentable frame. I don't have photoshop in my new comp, so I'am using irfan view to edit...haha...And btw, the pictures were taken with my phone's camera...

Got the STAX SR80MX from nakedtoes today. Its brilliant but sad to say, I prefer the sound and presentation of my other cans thus i see no point in keeping it. I'am looking for interested buyers only. I'll be selling these brilliant cans at $240. Highest bidder wins this sweet combo. I hate parting with this but I since my es7 sounds pretty darn close to the stax, I've no choice but to let them go. Please PM me for more details.

I don't think that the W5000 is officially released in Singapore. When i bought my ES7 from Hung Brothers, it wasn't even released officially. And that was last December...Called AT S.E.A and had to speak to one of the technical support guys before any of them even heard of it...Really strange...

Maybe its like Shures in Singapore...The prices imo are exorbitantly high (at least imo they are...). But nevertheless, its good to hear that the K701's are finally reaching our shores. Seems like I was the first in Sg to get them .

The ES7's are great...But bewarned, its notorious for attracting horrid finger prints as well as scratches....Mine already has two very very small scratches on the shiny metal facing...I guess it was dust that scratched it when i used the cloth that came with it for polishing...

I think the K701's have a sweet and wonderful midrange. The bass is definitly there(don't worry, folks, for those who've been through their 501's, its finally back!). Clarity and details are superb. Good buy for such a low price imo...

Seems like Beyer Dynamics is really hot here in SGheadphones....Its sort of like a without fail, every thread has someone recommending a Beyer can sort of affair.... Back to the OT, ditto to the PX200 suggestion. With that price, and your friend wants headphones....The PX200's a pretty good choice. And yeah, like what lekguan had said, its probably good to upz the budget a little.

I gave it a go at Hung Brothers. Can't remember how it sounded like because it was so noisy over there. I'll give some first impressions though on the looks. For an AT product, i think its built is a little shoddy and sloppy. And my, its very very small....I was expecting something like the Gilmore Lite but it was smaller.

You've missed out the biggest part of it....And that's they're Limited.... I guess this is the reason for the price jack...
