  1. I don't think I would ever buy from Kingsley. I don't see the point of paying such a premium. I know some may argue that if things go wrong then servicing is troublesome but I'am not overly concerned about that...Getting the Stax O2 and 007t II combo at $6000 for lets say a non regular is insane...I paid around $2380 for my O2 and lets say I get an amp that's around the $2300 price range, that'll equate to only---$4600+/- I don't see the need for a $1400 premium. Alternatively, this is like telling locals to get the E500 for $800 when u could place an order online for only $660(that is if u know which site to buy from...)
  2. Got them online from Price Japan. Its around $2400 cause I used paypal credit card function to pay since doing bank wire transfer was a little bit of a hassle for DBS online banking... They required this filling up of a form and sending them something.....blah blah blah....
  3. From my savings? Its a slow way up to the top...
  4. I just made a purchase for the Stax Omega 2's....Now I'am left with getting an amp...Wanted to get the KGBH but its USD $2400 ++ !!!!!*(^#&@$^(*#&$^!!!!! Looked at its cheaper solid state cousin the KGSS but then again, how about getting the SRM-007tII instead? I presume its cheaper?
  5. You mean Ken Hirai? Spelling mistake there...haha. Btw, I think that Hikawa Kiyoshi's albums are pretty nice. F.Y.I, he sings enka and he's really young. Good looks and great voice...But I wouldn't consider that as J-pop...More like japanese oldies...Yeah, Love Psychedelico's good as well. Early Times album would be actually a better buy than Greatest Hits because they've got this song called fantastic world that Greatest Hits doesn't have. I managed to get both albums so its sort of like an experience...
  6. Maybe initailly it was like yeah, this sounded great...but after a while, nothing was really surprising...I was simply using different cans on different days to get a different taste...I guess I'am a little bored as of now...Need to back out a little and then reaccess my stuff again. My friend took a 6 month break off all that headphone stuff by keeping them in his closet. He listened to them a few days ago and was in for a new experience...That was what i was trying to say...I think I'am kinda used to the sound and no longer find them mind blowing or sounding special...However, the reverse ain't particularly true...Tried those normal earbuds and yeah, they do sound like crap but back to headphones, I don't find them anything special... And no, its definitly not anything wrong with my source at the moment...I guess its me being less critical or demanding these days when i listen to music....what I do to chill out recently is to pop on any pair of cans that I find and play the music that I like. Seems that I'am getting a little tired of enjoying sound quality...Cause i felt that i neglected what good music really is...So its CD collecting time for me now and a little backing off from headphones...
  7. I've gone through quite a few headphone experiences and sad to say, I wasn't blown by the GS-1000's or L3000's or the K1000's and Stax 4040 system at kingsley. I've yet to hear the HE90's or the Omega 2's but I've got to say, many times, headphone experiences are either overly exaggerated or is it just me? I don't find that the L3000 blows the ES7 away nor do the GS-1000's sound so much better than the HD650's...So what I'am trying to say is that, i wouldn't be suprised to hear that people might even prefer the omega 2 over the HE90 or maybe GS-1000's over the HE90s....But still, I'll love to hear the HE90's and see what all that hype is about...
  8. Argh! I gotta hear them one day....But I've got my A levels to worry about now...ZZZ....I'll love to get my hands on one of those in the near future!
  9. Btw, your signature, the rich gets richer, the poor gets poorer reminds me of Markawnikoff's rule on organic chemistry where a Halogen derivative bonds to an Alkene....
  10. Yeah, i wanted to join in as well! Can i ??
  11. Lol, but this kinda stuff lightens up your day... And btw, I don't really have any CD's that i would like to get this week...
  12. I ish not treon lah.... I just copied his signature and put as mine....That's why I coverd the Treon words...haha...
  13. Yeah, I guess so...haha...Oh, btw, it costs S$59 but the shipping was $30....o.O
  14. Muhwahaha, if only it were a fulll sized real life USB missle launcher....
  15. Its pretty neat and the missles fire via spring compression. Travels up to 4m and since its made of foam, it doesn't really hurt. I fired all three at my mum for testing and she came hollering at me...Lol...After a while everyone in the house started playing around with it...It comes with a software for adjusting the angle and the missle launcher can also swivel 180 degrees. Controls are all made via the software provided, including the firing sequence. Requires 3 AA batteries and its bigger than i expected...
  16. Somehow, the DRM thinggie makes me think of Jap handphones....
  17. Hopefully it'll be somewhere late this year...
  18. I wonder when the next meet would be held...
  19. WooHoo! I just purchased the USB Missle Launcher...I know, I am vry bo liao but I can't resist...It looks so cute and fun...Okok, I get back to topic...

Lol, I probably won't be throwing anything away...Btw, Yotiao, could you tell me more about the Squeezebox? I've been reading it on the web and it seems to be a wireless thinggie? Don't really get this Squeezebox concept...Why not just ASIO/Kernal streaming then to DAC? They kept stating wireless music...wireless....music...
