  1. Price of XMOD drop till to 100.
  2. I guess 399 is for nEar 05 classic and not the eXperience?
  3. Creative XMOD. bought it about start of november, hardly use as my DAC came about a week after it. Letting it go for $110. Little Dot II+. Got it from the 3rd MO. Used for about a month or so. Also stop using because of my new DAC acquisition. Letting it go for $120.
  4. As I'd used only a few sources before the Citypulse, what I can use as gage is pretty limited. Here goes. The Citypulse is very neutral sounding and provides quite abit of clarity. The mids is a lil harsh, not too bad actually and the bass is tight. The sound stage is wide which made the instruments separation rather obvious. The build is rather solid. If ya using digital in, you'll be able to choose Fixed out, which uses only the DAC, or variable out, which uses it's DAC + discrete head/preamp. If ya using the Fixed out, then the volume knob and the volume buttons on the remote will be rendered useless. It's very enjoyable listening to the Citypulse and I heard that you'll need at least 300 hours of burning in to get the full potential out of it. It's a rather good investment if you ask me about it.
  5. Heh, I'm using PC as source as well. Onkyo SE-90PCI -> IXOS Toslink -> Citypulse DA7.2x -> Canare L2t2s Neutrik RCA - TRS connector -> nEar 05 eXperience. Software: Foobar 2000 with KS CDs extracted using EAC Basically setup is using bit perfect from PC as source and mostly using FLACs or Wave files. I'd played around with a few sound cards including Audigy 4 Pro, LD II+ (pre) and the XMOD. This current setup is my favorite and I seriously doubt I'll be going for any upgrade in the near future. Freaking expensive hobby if you ask me about it.
  6. I got both of it for sales. Anyway, the audigy 4 pro is using the CS-4398 chip, which is used by the Zhaolu as well. It's not that well received by others due to it's pricing.
  7. 1: Creative Xmod bought it about a week ago includes the whole package with box and receipt RP: 120 [sRP: 139] 2: Onky SE - 90PCI *MWTS bought about a month ago includes the whole package with box and receipt RP: 130 [sRP: 150] 3: Creative Audigy 4 Pro (w/ External Bay) bought more than a year ago includes the whole package with box RP: 200 [sRP: 399] The reason I'm selling all these items is to fund my incoming external DAC. No more use for all these. The Creative Audigy 4 Pro is retailing @ 399 when I was at CreativeX last week to purchase my Xmod. Anyway, will deal at clementi on weekday evenings and anytime on weekend (confirm before hand). Will post pictures of those items later. Creative Xmod Onkyo SE-90PCI Audigy 4 Pro
  8. Be it Dared Mp5, Zhaolu, or Spitfire.. Looking for DAC to replace my Audigy 4. Thanks.
  9. Interested in these 2 items. Let me know the price and the condition. Thanks.
  10. Price reduced to 180. PM me if interested.
  11. yeah, much had been heard about the Fubar II, but wonder how is this external DAC in comparison with sound cards liek 0404 or even Juli@?
  12. Upgrades! LOL. Not for the cans though, thinking of getting a DAC for my PC.
