    health issues

Should be o.k if u don't listened to high volume ( Outside also can hear ). Feel uncomfortable for me, that's why I used a headphone. Of course there is always pros & cons.
  3. My friend is using the Nano. Its a good player if u are looking for something clear & digital. And the customer service is good. As for the earphone, I think the stock one is good enough. Unless your budget is higher, I feel that u should buy the Nano & listened for a while before upgrading your earphone. Note that they are plenty of choices out there beside Nano. I think u should go down to trial test yourself at Stereo Electronic before making your decision. Do give a call & check Aron is there before going. Upgrading of earphone should come later after u had saved enough.
  4. Why don't u bring down your player & trial test the earphone at Stereo Electronics in Causeway Point ? S$400 can really get u a lot of choices. Can ask Aron for advise ?
  5. The reasons why I changed to H340 are : 1) 5GB is too little for me. 2) I will be using it with a pair of headphone. Feel that the H340 is more suitable to do this. 3) The feature offered by the H340 ( its also come with an additional external battery pack ) no doubt that the H10 is nicer in design & build but I am looking at toughness & sound quality. 4) Sound is more powerful & better as compared to the H10. The H10 comes with 32 equalisers control. I think its too much. The H340 comes with 5 Preset EQ(Normal, Rock, Jazz, Classic, Ultra Bass) & 1 User EQ, SRS WOW ( not available in H10 ) Personnelly, I feel that the sound is much clearer for H10 ( meaning its more precise & digital to me ) than H340. But I always feel that there is always a sound limitation for compact size portable player. H340 sound is definitely more powerful & analog with so much advantages over H10. I feel its worth the price so I change it if look is not your concern.
  6. Not really cross talk. It had more emotion & ambience to the sound. Ipod is very crystal clean. It totally removed all this thing. The sound is quite unreal. But its better that u have a listened by yourself. The only bad encountered that I had with my H340 is there will be some irritating sound once a while. I believed all hard disks player should have this sound, think its caused by the spinning of the disk. I actually buy the H10 initially but find the storage is not really enough so I exchanged for the H340 which offer me much more feature & storage. Sound wise, its better.
  7. We did a test using Iriver H340 & Ipod Nano. The same song was tested with the same earphone & both players are set at flat equaliser. The observation from 3 of us is that : 1) Ipod - It gave a very clean & digital sound. The sound is crystal clear. 2) Iriver - It gave an analog & more realistic sound. U can feel the singer is singing in front of u. Its up to u wat kind of sound u are looking for. My friend prefer his Ipod Nano while my other friend & I prefer the Iriver.
  8. Hi, I am selling my E2C for S$80 ( Firm ). I am not using it anymore & also switching to headphone. This earphone was brought from Hung Brother in 3/4/2004. I still have the receipt & package. Pls SMS me at 97818507 if interested.
  9. U can try SLS Hung Brother & some other shops there. But I think Stereo offered the best price & service.
  10. I am selling my E2C @ S$100 ( neg ) if u are interested.
  11. Had not listened to the hd 25 but I owned the hd 280pro for 1.5 years already. The only problem is the 64 ohms which is a bit high for any portable player to drive it no doubt u still can. The sound is warm & detail. I choose this because it enclose your whole ear. Isolation is very good & u won't feel the heat wearing for long. Regards.
  12. Buy from Stereo Electronics. Better Service. SLS, most of the salesmen are rather con-man & no doubt cheaper by 10+ dollars so wat. They know sh*t about their product.
  13. Yeah, I think I will also feel plainful if scratching the W1000 for travelling. Any other suggestion ? How about A1000 ? Is this exactly the same as W1000 but in plastic form ? I read that A1000 is more better in playing pop song & the W1000 is better for classical. Thanks.
  14. Hi, I had been using Senn HD280 Pro with my Iriver H340 for 1.5 years. I was thinking of upgrading my headphone. I am thinking of AT W1000. Any opinion ? Heard that the bass might not be better than my Senn HD280 Pro. I would be using this outside while travelling. Just like to know how is the sound difference betwwen AT W1000 & W5000 ? Is it advisable to get the W5000 while travelling as its expensive & really afraid that it will be damage ? Thanks .
  15. Is it still sell at S$170 ? I got mine E2C quite sometimes ago at S$180 at SLS. By the way, is the new E2C still made in USA/Mexico ? I think maybe can get it at S$150 or below ?
  16. I will never invest in a pair of expensive earphone. I don't think its worthwhile. I would rather get a headphone which offered better sound quality & everything. Regards.

    mp3 players

I had the H340. I would recommend this MP3 no doubt that the look very aweful to some but the sound is one of the best.
  18. My advise is not to buy. I used to hold quite a couple of Sennheiser headphone. Please note that all Sennheiser headphone comes with 2 years warranty. It really very costly to replace a cone. Mine ever spoilt twice. First model : HD530 ( one of the best, very old model ) cost me S$60 buck for 1 replacement. My second one HD565 cost me S$80 to replace. I am currently using my HD280Pro which I like it very much. I used it on my H340 MP3 player. Regards
