It all depends on your earphones/cans. I don't use my LDM+ anymore because it doesn't sound good with my Mylar3s. You should always try out the amp before making a decision.

I am selling the above combination at 150. The Super.Fi 3 comes with everything 'cept the metal case. Everything else is included (The different earplugs, etc), the super.fi 3 used for 5 months, the LDM used for 3 months, also full set with charger. I tried them out and I was pretty amazed by the good sound quality. It was definitely no Super.Fi 3, but it was definitely an EX90 sound signature, plus the activation of the noise cancelling did not degrade sound quality in a way that was recognisable. I'm quite tempted to get this since the price is pretty reasonable since it's the mp3 player plus the included noise canceling earphones, so anyone here wants to tell me what they think of it?

Got a pink set for my gf and it sounds pretty good.
