Meier Audio Corda Headfive headphone amplifier for sale, brand new, unopened. limited edition run of 500 in the world. this is a replacement unit i received as Dr jan was kind enough to send me another unit as we both thought the first unit he sent me got lost in the mail. offered this for sale a while ago, unfortunately i have not heard back from the guy who initially reserved it. so this is up for sale again. as before, the buyer of this amplifier will be banking in US$250 to Dr Jan Meier's account directly (with a credit card or paypal account). whoever wants to buy this unit off me, let me know first by private message. then email Dr Jan to let him know that you are buying the unit off me. he will forward payment instructions to you. once Dr Jan has confirmed receipt of payment, i'll arrange a meet up to hand over the amp to you. note, as i have not opened the box, i do not know what serial number this amp is.

i have an extra Meier Audio Corda Headfive for sale i ordered one for myself which took ages to arrive, and Dr Jan kindly sent me a replacement amp for free. but last week i received both of them at the same time. so i am keeping the one i ordered, serial no 9. i dont know the serial number of the other amp as i have not opened the box. whoever want this amp will be banking in payment to Dr Jan Meier's account directly. supposed to reserve this for one of the members here but he has backed out for another amp. *edit* sorry forgot to list the price. its US$250 directly into Dr Meier's account. i dont get anything from this sale.

my headfive is #009 at least top ten in something haha pity my LD2.. its being neglected..

am letting it burn in for a while before i do some serious listening : right now though, i think the LD2 has better 'slam', but the headfive is already much better in soundstage. hehe i didnt think of it that way til you brought it up.. well i have no intention of keeping both ( that would be dishonest! ) hope Jan replies me soon.

am waiting for Dr Jan to reply me on whether i can sell on his behalf (he is currently away from work, dunno when he'll be back). in anycase, if he does follow thru with my suggestion, someone on this forum has already PMed me to get the amp.. man that was quick! by the way, the other headfive is still in its delivery box, unopened..

just received it this afternoon.. in the process of burning in now. so far, wow, very detailed amplifier, lush midrange and abundant bass with punch! well worth the US$250. when i get the time i will be comparing this with the Little Dot 2 and Ray Samuel's Hornet. actually i have 2 headfives with me now.. first one i thought was lost in the mail since it was over 5 weeks since delivery date and i still hadnt received it. so Dr Jan kindly sent me a replacement unit for free last Monday, and this afternoon, both turned up on my doorstep at the same time.. will either be sending the replacement amp back to him, or will pass it to someone in Singapore who wants it and get the buyer to bank in money to Dr Jan directly.

use bestskinsever.. pretty easy to apply. just dun turn on the ipod for the recommended 24hours. looks good as well

i didnt buy the UM2. i auditioned them at Jaben anyways, if you do order them from earphonesolutions, u can ask them to declare as a gift. when i ordered my ER4P from www.discountheadphones.com, they really really under declared the earphones and i didnt pay a single cent for customs. plus they sent it via DHL, arrived in a week or so.

yes i am pretty much of a 'high' person.. i really enjoy having nice clear sounding IEMs/headphones. i used to own the EX71 as well, i still have them in my drawer and everytime i want to appreciate how clear sounding the Etys are, i will listen to the EX71 for a few minutes i used the UM2 with both the soft comply tips and the flanges. they were slightly awkward for me to get a good seal with, but once i was sure i had a good fit, i proceeded to play music through my Ipod-pocketdock line out-hornet setup. i guess this is just my own opinion, i dont expect everyone to feel the same way and i'm sure i will offend some of you UM2 owners out there.. but the UM2 is definitely not worth the extra money over the ER4P/S iems. i almost ordered the UM2 from earphonesolutions.com and i am glad i did not spend the extra $$ for dual drivers which dont even sound as good as a single driver iem. for those of you who are going to buy a new pair of IEMs, please, please do try them out before you buy. i have not had a chance to audition the Shure E4 series but am hoping to do so soon. peace guys.

i didnt like the UM2 sound either.. i went from the ER6 to the ER4P and after listening to those 2, the UM2 just sound muddy, the bass is not as tight, and the highs are very very rolled off compared to the Etys. the Etys have excellent detail and clear highs. the UM2 highs dont seem to be as clear and the mids sound a bit boomy and overpowering.

good condition Ipod 4th Gen 20Gb white colour click wheel comes with box and everything.. charger, adaptor, cables etc. stock earphones opened but used only once for testing. some very very minor light scratches on the backplate which i believe were actually from the plastic packaging that the ipod came in, but i have never ever used it without a silicon casing and a screen and wheel protector. so screen and and clickwheel in v.good condition. picture shown is with the silicon cover. pocketdock, Sony player, table and piece of paper not included in the sale box is a bit tattered but hey, you wont bring it out will you? can COD near Novena MRT, or TTSH anytime during work hours. can sms me at 91011681 with your offers. reasonable ones please. thanks

consider ordering from the US.. i just ordered a pair of ER4P from discountheadphones.com for US$225 including shipping and tracking cant wait to receive them! was torn between the ER4 series and the superfi, but in the end, the thought of a pair of really detailed IEMs got the better of me.

Marantz CD5400 cd player up for sale champagne colour, with box and everything. remote control still in plastic wrapping. in great condition, except a small scratch on the display (not very visible unless up close) paid S$299 for it less than 5 months ago. please offer something reasonable. great cd player to introduce yourself to the hifi world can come and audition in my place in Novena if you like. anytime in the evening. reason for selling: have bought a higher end cd player.
