I have the Aego M by acoustic energy. Available at Simlim 1st floor.. just opp the lifts.. think it's city electronics or stg... if i'm not wrong they dropped price to 299 before GST... 2.1 system..I love it! 3 bass levels to choose.. tight bass, very very clean sound..

what about the superfi 3s or 5s? heard they're quite bang for buck... or the shure scl 2 or something.. not too ex I think..

I use macbook through Superpro DAC (available at simlim for about 210) into Aego M speakers. I'm not sure if the DAC will go straight out to your headphones. I think the superpro is a speaker DAC though I don't know if there's a difference. I think 100-120 would be difficult. The superpro was already the cheapest I could find but it's good stuff for that price. =)

I guess they're trying to bridge the gaps between pro musicians and audiophile listeners... if it were just pros the market would be alot smaller..

wah there're really so so many man.. gosh...

like some IEM companies put bumps in certain freq to boost like mids or bass.. but real monitoring purposes or studio recording purposes would need like a totally flat EQ no? that's what I meant.. like the sound is AS IT IS... heh

are the yuins expensive? everyone seems to love them!!

or shures or ultimate ears or etymotics... just some of the more popular earphones around here.
