alamakazam replied to blueyan's topic in Home Equipment
as long they don't sell more than the recommended retail price, it is reasonable -

if u can find woodwork in singapore = expensive if you are willing to PAY(expensive again) a plastic or alu frame can machined out, their are some workshop (check yellow pages) else, if u can small nice piece of wood, buy a saw, a engraver, craft the frame yourself... hard way... not as expensive...
-
u probably can find the pin in sim lim tower PROBLEM - to find the connector housing - is custom made some use epoxy, some use hot glue to create the housing.... is up to your imagination some cable maker use the above
-
1)the price are mark up too high anyway... 2)don't believe in OEM! it could be fake! HD598 is a much better choice, there is fake at moment and is good at that price range

I have a big question for u , before u buy yr headphone.. you want a Turntable, you want to audition them there is too many variable Phonostage <---- important Cartridge <---- important Tonearm Cable Interconnects Power Cable solve the above variable, or the "common frame of reference" u wanted, will never be accomplished since is for monitoring... try monitoring headphones ... Sony MDR-CD900ST Studio Monitor Headphones -
