I believe since open cans, ie. AD's has larger soundstage and the sound "surrounds" you. However they lack in bass compared to the As. I feel that if you are not a rock listener/basshead, AD's would be better. IMO, the As' below A900 are not worth looking at. try the ms1/2. I've heard the lower range ATH's and they are no where close the the ms1.

Yes, i agree wif ahdui. I think you would like the shure sound, so give them a try first, then try the UM2 (they're bass a bit muddy, but warm) The UE's bass tight and controlled, but lacks in warmth and i guess a little soundstage (burn in helps in this area though) Thats y i guess your best choice would be the shure sound. Try all of them, this is just my opinion. Trust your ears, u might even get something cheaper or "lower-end" than the UM1, but if u like the sound, its worth more than any "high-end" IEM... To u that is... lol

Hey, there are a lot of mo's for ksc75 going on. And there should be a lot of new owners. Wondering whats your impressions of the phones, basically, your thoughts. For me, there're great, more treble based. They're not suited to be amped, unless the amps emphisize on bass. However, i find their built quality appalling, on the way home, the ear clip broke off 3 times. But i felt that they looked nice. To me, they are more suited to be driven with eq out of the mp3 player. But for that amount of money, they just my 2 cents, guys, fill up this thread will ya?
