Besides those iems, u should try the ck7 or cx300 which are canal phones. they are slightly cheaper... Gotta depend on the genre on songs u listen to, and the type of sound you want for those songs Listen to all of them, take a sunday/saturday off and head to jaben for a road test. Just don't try those earphones that are out of your price range no matter how wilson temps. u to... or u might just end up buying them! i suggest to buy something a little cheaper first to test water, to make sure that u actually like IEM's or canal phones, who noes... everyone ears are shaped differently and u might not feel comfortable wif them... Anyway just go test them out and let your ears decide, if u decide u like iems there and then, go ahead and get the one you fancy... bring your own CD's/source for a better reference... and oh, bring your stock buds, u WILL be amazed by the difference... lol

Haha, wad genre do u listen to? if rock, and u like bass, sf3. but i guess shures will be more balanced. Try them out... and let ur ears decide. btw, u should try the ck7, um1 and other iems in this price range...

Hi guys. I come to you again with another noobish question. I have a Creative Muvo TX fm 256mb. I often bring that to school, just in case my ipod or zen get stolen. In the past, i need not worry for my earphones. I used sony buds, which were cheap, hence i did not care. Now, i only have SF5 left, and im simply afraid to bring them to school. (Secondary school mah) Please advise on practical earphones or portable headphones under budget of 60 bucks. This is just in case i don't like the sound of my upcoming ksc75. Thks again guys. Pls state ur personal opinion on the phones, cuz i dun think i will be able to try out budget phones. Thks!

for warmer bass go for westones... um1/2 for punchy and tight bass, UE sf3/5 pro Go for 5eb only after you have tried everything else and they dun satisfy u. The bass on those is Really muddy and muffles everything else. Only a true basshead like xErTiNi will appreciate it.

You might prefer portable cd players to mp3 players in terms of sound quality but u might should give mp3 players a try cuz of their small size. If you choose either of them, there are some threads in the forum related to which one you should choose... Cheers
