wow pure silver sure is ex. think i got to settle for copper wire. however clear teflon is a priority! haha

i want to get either pure silver or copper. but would like to have a clear teflon tube (self thread) or teflon coated like the one on homegrownaudio. basically want to make a 3 wire braid for a ipod lod. something like the one ALO made using cryo treated wire. cosmetically look nice and can make to 'c' shape easily.

is it difficult to thread the wire through the tubing? cheaper to self-thread or cheaper to buy already teflon coated wire?

I can make a cmoy for you with XLR input. Wont be so professional looking but will do the job well.

you can always DIY one. a simple cmoy will do that trick.

I hope thats the case. It's rather bassy for me. I'm not so much into bass for the songs i listen to. Around 20+ hr burn in only at the moment.

i thought i destroyed the first lod. then went on making my 2nd lod which worked. today i managed to savage it and got it working! woohoo.

okie. i just tried filling abit of it. just nice but i think my glueing down of the top and bottom is not good. doesnt look nice enough.

hmm. after i add sleeve to the cable, it is alil bigger than the LOD hole. so i'm having trouble closing it with hot glue. should i file the hole bigger or get another LOD with bigger hole?

maybe a COD if mouz dont mind?

the LOD will gives you a line-level output instead of headphone output. a line-out will generally be better as it bypass the internal amp circuitry of the ipod. the LOD is cheap. 2.10 only if you choose the DIY option. the one with 3.5mm jack is pre-prepared.

hmm.. you have any idea how would a ck2III fare against a hybrid max. in terms of circuitry wise? it seems the cost of the ck2III is so much lower than the maxxed
