will like to enquire from the experts here whether there will be a substantial difference if I play from a line-out of a mp3 player or a headphone-out from it. Heard from my friend that it will have a great difference 'cos it bypasses the internal amp of the mp3 player. I'm asking this 'cos I intend to pair it up with my amp. But not many mp3 players have line-out right? hmm....

haha..yeah I heard it from Aron @ SE this afternoon while PPKiller get his 595. Really too bulky to bring an amp around in my opinion after checking one portable one out. Maybe a better sounding mp3 player would suffice.

yeah true...it won't be that micro anymore.... maybe a ipod nano or shuffle with amp will make a better portable choice.. haha...more people having the triple.fi...is that a good or bad thing?

Using a Zen micro with Triple.Fi. Will like to seek opinion from experts here on whether a portable amp will improve the sound from my zen micro or will it be negligible? Thanks!

Congrats! I am also a happy buyer of the Triple.Fi....Got the 0494/1000.. And it's my first high-end IEM....it was a story of getting blown away first by the UM1 and after some coaxing decided to listen to the UM2 and whoa..... And I thought...hey..why not get something which can last me a longer time? 'cos I foresee I will get another pair if i start off with UM1....
