the chip is something start with TPxxxxxxx, dont know what is that. it's a single chip with resistors and capacitors under it. do you want to try it??

hello fellow DIY friends, digi01 sent me 2 USB dac (simple prototype, and I have to pay), about the size of a tumbdrive. Seems like sound card. When i plug into my Apple Mac, it doesn't seems working well, I suspect it's the driver problem. Anyone want to try it and help him ot evaluate?? please PM me..

sound i am not sure, i only heard k240 only, sound is good for its price. the 600 ohm version is definitely very difficult to drive, you will need a good headphone amp.

it's just a crap name, named after a forumer who tried this. anyway, most forumers who tried said there's quite an imporvement in term of details and transparency. the R1 can be from 10k to 30k, or even any value, depends on attenuation u need. for more info, i think u can read the article in the link i provided.
