  1. ?? If you read through the thread, most people say the sound is quite outstanding. Even though it's considered 'cheap' for customs, some say that it's kinda like a cheaper tf10. Well, if you reaaally want a 6 driver custom that you can buy now, there's always JH 13 pro
  2. 16USD at amazon. But it sounds fantastic, don't let the price fool you. Not sure how much SG selling them for though. The bass is, IMO, just right
  3. Is the screen important for you? I don't think irrivers are particularly known for durability, and the form factor does seem a tad large for jogging use. I would recommend the new Sansa Clip+ for your usage, but you'll have to bring it in from USA - SG doesn't have a distro for Sansa
  4. it looks more like red on my monitor too, but could be my LCD color calibration being off. i'm personally not one for getting flashy colors. Don't wanna draw too much attention to it when wearing lol
  5. Just try searching some local forums.. here's one http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/showthre...2&highlight=um2 Good luck
  6. The purple customs look really really awesome. Probably one of the few custom colors i've seen other people getting.
  7. Hmm, i haven't heard the se210 and below, but had the se310 and it wasn't that good, especially for the price. IMO, the only Shure models worth getting are the 420 and 530, because the lower-end models don't sound as good as the westone/UE price equivalents Nah, 310 can't change bass port. I think you're talking about that marketing gimmick Shure uses in their website - some tuned bass port or something. I can tell you that the 310 has rather thin bass, if you're comparing with sf5pros/um2, and is clearly inferior to those 2 also (not just bass-wise)
  8. hmm, why would he? Ultimately the drivers will still be replaced with brand new ones heh. I would have edited my post after you said that.. but you quoted me lol
  9. Huge thumbs up for Amos, their tech guy. He told me that my 650 drivers would have to be flown in from Germany cos he had no present driver stock. So i expressed my concern about the long waiting time. Lo and behold, he said he'll get some hd650 units from their warehouse, take the drivers out from those new sets, then fix it onto mine. He didn't have to go through the inconvenience but did it anyway for a customer. Kudos
  10. Good luck. Alternatively, you can try head-fi/jaben forums too
  11. sf3 totally different league from sf5 pro man. They look pretty much the same as far as i can remember.
  12. superfis generally don't isolate as well as westone/shure due to the tip design, but it all depends on your ear canal shape. My ears couldn't take the UE frankenstein style; it was quite large and didn't feel like it was isolating anything at all lol. But that's just me Hmm, honestly quite tough call, because you can get much better stuff if you buy 2nd hand. SF5 pros typically go for ~ 250 2nd hand. I just saw someone selling 2 se530s for 600, so that's a pretty awesome deal too. Might wanna seriously rethink your stance on buying 2nd hand. If you're patient enough, there will always be a relatively new set going for cheap AND with warranty.
  13. Woah, not enough bass for you? Seems like this is one of the few times i've read of people not having enough bass with their hd800
  14. I remember seeing some go for around 250 last time. Not sure about now though
  15. UM1 is the best among the lot and it's around 150. The creative and astello are not true in-ears, they don't insert deeply
  16. Wow sweet! What amp you trying them with?
  17. You're using ASIO right? It's a common 'bug' when using ASIO
