  3. dun waste the money getting the amp la, even though is cheap. Ampless sound decent alr.
  4. i think going ampless will be good. The um3x sound very decent from my ipod without an amp.

  7. don't know if my knowledge is able to help much or not. but share with you some of what i had learnt. If you event is been attended by some VIP, is not advisable to play pop music cause of the seriousness of the event ma. Likewise song like instrumental or classical is a good choice. your target group is school students, so i would recommend something like fourplay music or some classical music? if your event is attended by minister, never play pop music, or any music with racist issue. In short, you can play pop music, but must be CLEAN! (like local music)

  10. open can mean that the design of the headphone is "open" and the sound can be leaked out, with mean in other words the isolate not that good, but IMO, open can sound more natural then a closed can. Close can mean the reverse lor.
  11. do agree that if you are looking for an open can, you can try the grado range, I am already a grado owner. Shure might not suit him well with the genre he listen to lei.
  12. why not try to make a trip to jaben and SE @ plaza sing as well, since they are near simlim also! They do have a few range of headphone for you to test and try out.

  18. For the link that heady sent you, i guess is thru online, and you can either DIY it yourself or you can buy the made ready one. The ibasso T4 is sold in Stereo Electronic, located at Plaza Singapura and Causeway point, both outlet is at level 4. And the amp is available for demo at the outlet, there are more selection of amp at there also. Can make a trip down to try them out.
  19. that's a portable amp. For you if you are using for portable, can consider a solid state amp arr. Can give the ibasso T4 a good try. Worth the money!
