well you could do that too. I found removing the core easier for me.

honestly? just be gentle and careful. I pressed my downwards while using my nails to seperate the core, you might want to try a blade.

to fit a shure olive you need to remove the core...

Actually all the makers use drivers made from OEMs, but the magic sauce is how its tuned.

I suppose it was bought when amazon sold them for USD$99 I bought my EBs online too, and when they broke down I just sent them in to the US side. You have to pay for shipping there, but it's not expensive.

yep the EBs have a vent hole (yay! If not I wouldn't have gone for it) Red + Black and Purple. very simple The purple is reaaaally nice, even tho i kinda wanted green, but talking to UM got to be quite the hassle (intermittent replies) so I just stuck to basic colours.

early impressions are good, esp after a slight bit of settling in. I have my colour dots facing down, is that correct? Sounded better to me, but i was messing around on the bus. Pins are also quite tight, but otherwise it's all good. Love the flexibility. I'll give it a bit more run in before i revisit this

Had a superd time at the concert last night too, managed to get some good vids and lots of crappy photos with the ISO too high, washing everything out. Still figuring things out, but well it's P&S anyway. Florence got better and better as the night wore on - left the concert feeling very fulfilled. Too bad the xx and florence didn't play anything together. Photos are uploaded, but vids are on the way...
