ya, i was considering um2 and 5 pro first, but after i tried the 10pro, i got addicted already. um2 sounds warm and neutral to me, not sounding as wide as 10 pro...now i have to start saving money alr..hai..

i went to SE today, really awsome, auditioned um2, ue 5pro, se530, westone 3 and triple 10 pro. think triple 10 pro suites me thanks to Ronald's efforts on recommending me earphones.. really nice service

heyhey..got some ang pow money and decided to buy earphones for myself..i own one AD700 at home, but it's too huge for outdoor uses, also leaks sound. so..i did some research and chose either um2 or sf5p(superfi 10 pro is much more expensive right? and um3 and se530, all 600 range liao, so cant). my max bugdet will be 400. i listen to all music from classic to female vocals to techno to hiphop so i prefer stronger bass(ad700 lacks abit bass without amping..i don't have an amp, just use 30GB ipod video), i think i m gonna audition the iem when i got time, any suggestions or opinions on choosing these iem? or shud i buy second hand iem? i dun quite trust the working conditions and warraties leh.. o ya.. SE can audition um2 and superfi 5 pro? and what are the iem i can audition there?

hi..burning headphones can use any type of music? i rip songs at 320 lol..but i heard applelossless and flac are better, but is there any forums or platforms where people share th files? cos i may not have the cd i want to burn..

went down to causeway point this saturday with my ipod, after quite a while of audition and comparing between ad700 and ms1, a900, sr60...picked my ad700..lol. at first impression that was huge, by the time i wear that on my head, it felt even larger, and abit loose. But the earpads were so comfortable. For the sound, vocals were clear and i can hear the slightest pitches, but the bass was way not enough though. thinking i will step into classic music in the future, i chose them. after went home and played many songs, i began to feel the high pitch abit too off for me, how can i lower the pitches?(i did changed the EQs on my ipod, not working), is it because it is new and it will be ok if i play it longer?

hey..thanks for all those replies,i did some more research these days and reduced my range of headphones to ad700, ms1, sr80 and juz came across with akg 530. ad700 has a wide soundstage, but relatively less bass, clear midrange and easily driven by a ipod..but not sure about the difference between ms1 and sr80, they look quite similar lol..akg 530 i think have to drive with additional amp, but how isit comapared with ad700?
