EX 71 SL comes with a 1m extension what... U can get from SLS L3 or 2 (forogt but shop name is V3 audio) costs about $70 Got this guy selling at warehouse price ($60) but have to meet him in MRT to do transaction. My friend buy before no problem. If want PM me so I can PM you his HP no. And 70 is no more in market (I think). I have been trying to find for about a month and on HWZ forum but to no avail. In th end got a 2nd hand one.

I suggest maybe it would be better if sgheadphones is changed to sgaudiophiles Since singapore lack an active audiophile website. HWZ audiophile section is crap. few ppl have got da knowledge as compared to here. And since sgheadphones is 1/2way there.... And it will attract more SG audiophiles.

Neutrik real BIG... Anyway is Switchcraft available in Singapore? Much smaller and got gold platted ones ( can keep longer?). Harder to solder though

I heard Canare cables very good the L-4E6S sold at hung bro SLS lv2 And Switchcraft or Neutrik plugs. True? Where can get Switchcraft? I know LHS sell Neutrik right? What about RCA(for audio), what cables and plug are more advisable? Canare cable as well?

Or someone willing to make one for me? Or Some shop which can solder high quality Stereo mini cables?

May I ask what are the best kind of ready-made cables or what best cables can be requested to be made (eg as the shop to solder then come back later to collect) for stereo mini (need a total of 5-7m. may be in the form of 1male-male + extensions. and another around 2m). If have 1 L plug 1 straight even better. If possible, please tell me the price (for 5-7m) and where I can get it. Thanks a million

sorry its ex71, type wrongly. Previously typed ex70, edited. And yes I agree. Why u shld not get EX71 1) I got a 71 which is pretty much similar. The high and mid very unclearly defined. Sounds a little muffled. High is screechy. Why to get EX71 1) Good isolation, if you don't use them at home, and wanna keep ur volume down in public places, its ur choice. When you have good isolation, you can listen at low volume while making ur music remain as clear. Thus ur hearing will not be damaged so easily. 2) you keep them in ur pocket. Its so small and light (4g) that if you keep them in the pocket it will not weigh much and won't be too big. Especially if you go to school and dont want to keep in the bag, so people won't steal ur player. The best performer of the Small Form Factor section. If neither of the above 2 fits ur usage (i.e.you use it at home, and in a quiet room, or you keep ur player in ur bag and usually stay in quiet places or prefer to turn up the volume), then get koss 55/50. 35 not in the market.

I'm using an EX70 and previously an EX51 I find the high real screechy and insufficient. The bass is right, but due to the already insufficient high, makes it sound even less bright, and far from even my Altec Lansing 621 (which is known to be not-so-bright-sounding as compared to a few other high-end PC speakers)). The reason I use the sony earbud is coz they have real good isolation, so when u are on the bus u won't have to turn the thing real loud to hear the song clearly, even when u sit at the last row where the engine is the loudest. Thus you can enjoy music while not spoiling ur hearing ability. 2nd reason is coz I find it one of the best performer in the SFF (sounds like CPU casing eh?) section, thus I can bring it around with my MP3 player and also handphone in the same pocket without feeling bulged (put in bag bring to school easily stolen).

I tried, and the only difference I could hear was when I put a 5 cent on the power plug of my speaker, but it was really quite little, not significant. Anyway my speakers aren't very good as well. Only Altec Lansing 621.
