Thanks nakedtoes. Anyway I've read in a few places that the 325i has slightly more detail than the rs-1 though the rs-1 has more warmth and dynamics. Any truth to those statements? It is the main contributing factor as to why I'm going for the 325i over the rs1. Unfornately I just reformatted my pc and I no longer have links to the web pages that described the 325i as being more detailed. By the way I'm thinking of investing in a DAC, do you think it would help the sound, plus would using normal power cords affect the sound? And what is the job of a pre-amp? Does it improve the sound? So sorry for asking so much questions but i'm seriously considering upgrading my headphone setup before my hifi setup. Hope to hear from ya guys soon! Thanks!

I'm split between the two above. I'll be honest, I've yet to listen to the alessandro ms-2 but I've seen people recommending it over the 325, why is that? Anyway I want as much detail as possible as well as having the cans sound as neutral as possible. Which would headphone would suit my needs better? I'm told that I could purchase the alessandro in aus. Anyone can confirm this? Thanks.

Get a grado, you won't regret it. Personally I have the sr-60. If you're a bass lover, you might wanna get the sr80, has slightly more refined bass. Be sure to enconde your music using high bit rates...Best would be 320kbs.

It's about 3 months old. Has some slight scuffs at its edges which are not visible until upon closer inspection. Other than those scuffs it's in perfect working condition and there are no scratches on the screen. Reason why I'm letting go is cause will not be playing it anytime soon and was hoping I could get a pink vers instead for my gal's bday. Will let it go to anyone who meets my reserve price. I just bought the grado sr-60 for my upcoming ipod. TOTALLY LOVE IT! On it's own I already love the design, but the sound coming from 'em? Totally blew me away. Now I'm seriously considering another pair of grados for home usage. Since I just bought the sr-60 and I'll be getting my ipod in the next few weeks I'll be pretty broke so I was considering the sr-125 instead. I've read more detail could be heard from this phones and they're within my budget too. I've tried the rs-1 and although it is better than my sr60 I don't feel as if it justifies me paying $1200 for it. ( In terms of performance increase ) Also I feel it's a waste of money if I just bought another sr60 to be used at home so I wanna go for the next step up. What do you guys think? For me most importantly is detail. I'm not really crazy about bass which is why I chose the sr60 over the sr80. Hope to know your opinions plus reviews of the sr125. Thanks! What do I get if I wanted to connect two sources to my headphone amp? How much would it cost and where can I get it? My headphone amp can only accept one pair of cables, which is why I'm hoping there's a device that allows me to input two sources. Hmm .. ya you are correct but in Japan first batch items have better hardware so i rather pay for the hardware first as for the software i update from time to time .. as SONY had mention that the PSP can download its software into the PSP .. TO say i more of a Sony fan ... not to mention they had most of the nice games release in their set, but square enix most FF games are still release by sony like the next FF7 game "before crisis" ( not too sure did i get the name right" is going to be release on the PSP in year 2006 WOo i can't wait for it release but it still long from now O.o ya anther FF7 expansion game is release on a handphone ! heheEE .... Nope, first batch of psp will be like the test batch. There will be hardware updates. You should just get the psp when ff is out. But i think the ff for the hp and the ff for the psp is different. I wanna get the nds, they're releasing it a few weeks after hari raya, just perfect!! Anyways the nds is cheaper, has more games I'm looking forward to. Plus it's backward compatible with gba games. For the nds, one screen is for sub menus and all that or maps, the other is for the game itself. and it's also a touch screen. Do not get the psp when they just release it, sony products have been notorious for being buggy for launch sets, just like the ps2. Plus as it is, there's even plans to upgrade the psp down the road. The batt life is really short in my opinion. 3-6 hours if i'm not mistaken. Perhaps if I decide to get the nds that early on, I'll bring it along to the meet?

I was playing the same track for like the 4th time before the problem happened again. Is it remotely possible it's my disc that's giving problem? And if it is giving problem why does it not happen every single time?

I spoke too soon. This morning the same problem popped up again. Anyways my new player has alot of scratches although barely visible. sigh....probably gonna call them up on monday to complain. Not gonna send for repair, the incompetent technician will go on saying the problem never happens. I guess it's a model fault? Anyone else has the same player and same problem too? Oh well at least this time around it happened after a hell lot of playing. Unlike last time, I could even have the same problem happen twice in one sitting. Now that was really irritating.

GREAT! Not regretting my decision to get this player, although I'd be lying if I said if I had the dough I wouldn't have gone for the rotel setup. Personally I could barely tell the difference and there was no way in hell I'm gonna fork out another $250 when the difference I could hear was minimal. Anyways just played my first copied cd on it. Wanted to listen to how an mp3 encoded at 128kbps (obviously burned as a music cd but the source was the 128kbps mp3) sounded against a cd. Damn the sound sounded horrible. hahaha..I'm not saying I've the best setup in the world but it's pretty decent I would say. At least I could hear the glaring differences. Using belden cables, antique sound labs mghead with new stock tubes, philips hp 890 and of course the marantz cd5400.

I don't have the problem anymore and I've never played any copied discs on my player. They exchanged my set for a new set.
