  1. I think Stereo Electronics is the only one who critic their own products seriously. Of course, do your homework! Do your market research on the prices as well.
  2. Just a question, do you think UE 5Pro can be fitted with custom earnolds or perhaps a 3rd party sleeve? Anybody heard of any 3rd party cables for UE 5Pro so far?
  3. I can set up to 85% when i'm out in an hotspot with a soft flex. Environmental noises can still pass into your ears by induction, especially in the areas behind your ears. Whereas in an quiet environment, i may set as low as 20 - 30%, depending on how i want to isolate myself from disturbance etc.
  4. Just wondering how much volume output are you guys putting your iPod to? This question goes out to IEM users like the Shure+ers, Westone+ers, Ultimate Ear+ers etc.. Another question is about the EQ, i find the iPod (EQ = off) is alittle lacking and so, i set it to Electronic. It gives more vibe, groove and lift in the vocals. So, what is your favourite EQ setting or non at all?

  7. yOz... First of all, what brand of amp do you use? Amps with lower weightings below 30 watts may not be able be able to provide the live stage soundings. Consider to tune your effect pedal/board to provide a close to a accurate live sounding. It is recommended to get a close monitoring headphone for usage on instruments playing. Sennheiser Monitoring Headphones could be a good choice when choosing. Currently i am using Sennheiser HD 212 PRO DJ..for sound monitoring, as well as for portable listening. But this model of headphone as a little harmonic distortion of 5%, providing more live stage soundings. It feels like playing on a 500 watts amp. Psst: Please remember to tune down the volume of your headphone output when plugging the jack. It costs S$99.00. Not a bad buy!
  8. 2 hours a dAy? Or perhaps making sure i will stop after my AA battery drained completely in my discman. I carry my cans to school(secondary at the moment), even in conditions where headphones are not allowed. I used to have this playful prank...I will sound my headphone under my table while the teacher is teaching, but lUcky...it was loud enough to travel around my neighbouring classmates only! I always have place to hide my cans when there are checks on our bags. Tip : bRibE yOUr pReFeCts, oR mAkE moRe fRieNds wIth sChooL mAteS wHO aRe pRefeCts AdDicTeD tO heaDphONes? NO cuRe

  11. Hix there, I'm looking for a second hand Sennheiser HD280. It must be in good conditions and less than 1 year in use. It must not have its quality faded as well. I'm quite budget tight at the moment. Please do leave your reply with your name, email address and your list price. I will get back to you if i'm interested. ThanKs dUDes!
  12. Well, yes i did tried the Sennheiser headset. Well, first of all, u need to plug the receiver set top into the poly jack of a powered mixer. A 8 ohm amplified mixing console setup would be idea for best working conditions. Well, i must say that a good setup would bring out the most natural voice. Db can be set both on the headset receiver as well as the set top. Well, first of all from my experience as a audio console mixing master, Sennheiser headsets are less prone to feedbacks as compared to other brands. It will definitely give a good bass boost if lightly tuned in its EQ. But one thing for sure which i have tried. You may wish to put on the headset together with your headphones for occassions where you need to speak to the stage crewmen while tuning on your mixer. But of cause, if you wish to use the headset for recording as compared to a wired microphone, the wired microphone would be alot better. Find me if you need anymore queries on its functions.
