Yes! Fanboys was the word i was looking for. i was contemplating Mac-natics... i think random playing is even available on cd players. I'm not anti mac or anything(hell, i even changed my windows into a Mac OS interface) but this shuffle is way overrated, but SWH comments were abit uncalled for, i was actually suprise by some of the words he used. sound more like a sore competitor(not loser, yet) anyway, those who get, enjoy it! for the size and design, it is a pretty neat gadget.

if im not wrong, s'pore out of stock for 2 mths and there's a fricking long pre-order list. Apple IS selling a lifestyle. They turned a random playlist into something thats cool and unique, like av98m said, i think it will appeal to the gym/sports fanatics. I guess Steve Jobs just kept his place for another term with the intro of the Mini Mac and Shuffle. From what i read, there wasn't much hype at the CES during the launch of he Shuffle, rather is the Mac fanatics that 'blow' the thing up. For that price and bang for buck on memory size, it is actually pretty worthwhile. Do remember. Jobs did write off flash based players before. One more thing, I kinda of drawn to the idea of having a Mac mini mounted in a car, it fits the stereo deck, wondered if the guys at apple were thinking of that in the design, but the price is still expensive for that spec.

Correction, is one more mth to warranty end(11 mth old), but i got it shipped in so i'm not really sure bout warranty. Hey, when you guys collect toys/models etc, do u take it out of the box to display? i never/rarely take them out, for fear of damage it or getting it dirty. But lately, i realised that i'm lacking places to display them. and i'm like bring them over to my Hall to 'display'. I was quite paranoid till i didnt even want to cause any damage to the backboard

Any idea how to extract the audio from video clips, ie avi etc format? I was thinking of extracting the bgm and SFX for a powerpoint presentation. Was thinking of looping from headphone out to mic.use sound recorder to record. Sound very low-tech but tts wat i can come up with. Quality wise so so will be alrite But didnt have male-male cable currently. Will it work? Yukikaze is EXCELLENT! I thought no one was watching it as the coverage is so low in the anime community(k lah, communtities i know is quite limited) One reason is so damn good, the planes SFX are actually 'live' recordings from actual fighter planes. Caught it on the DVD OVA. Bascially the sound/gfx production part is similar to GITS: Moive(1st). Where GITS team actually went to Guam to do 'live' firing of weapons on different material to see the effect and the sound it produce. Watch it with surround sound!!!! I'm reading the chinese for school rumble. I bought them from Kino(Bugis) too. Pretty reasonable. If you wan Taiwan press, I can actually ask a guy in my school from you. He's a taiwaness and he could actually bring in Taiwan comics at pretty reasonable price. Below is the price he quote me at.
