Guys/Gals need some help/advice here. My parents will be dropping by New York in coming weeks. I thought I could ask them do a little shopping for me. It will rather cold now right? What are some of the good places to shop( no Ave 5 pls!), and is it cheap over there? It is my parents 1st trip to States so they are rather unfamilar with that place, and the tour guide will be a relative of mine who recently moved over there. I'm looking to all stuffs, not just audio. Of course, the items must be able to cross the customs. Don't want to risk my parents for them. Thanks Augustine

Basically u can't share(i'm not sure wat technical term to use) a USB adsl network. U need an ethernet modem to share the network. what sayhitojason is true too, the usb drivers are always buggy and singtel can't really do much abt it. I'm quite sure the ethernet singtel offer can be use, but i'll suggest u drop by sim lim for a better deal. I suppose u have sign up from the jet pack. BTW, do u have a wireless router?

In my line of work, part timer, at an estab IT firm(out source firm), we've encountered many customers sending in sets for repair due to SP2. Some common problems are, SP2 are simply not comapatitible with existing 3rd parties software in the system. Some are due to hardware too. M$ have a list of programes/hardwares that might have conflict with SP2. But it is not all bad. The firewall that comes with it is actually better than Norton, according to engineers in my workplace. I got this feeling that they actually rushed the patch out, since they shelved Longhorn further back. On my notebook i dont use SP2 but my desktop does. It is running fine. It has better networking support and bluetooth interface is simplier now. At least now they got generic drivers for bluetooth. These are my thoughts of SP2. If i missed/misunderstood anything pls inform me. another note: I actualli hate SP2, it does bogged down the system a little. I don't really like Windows too, but most of the IT infrastrutcture i used, ie workplace/school, more tend to be MS, in a way, i'm bound by MS. Actually i more of dont like the interface, preferred Mac.(i changed the shell system on my windows anyway). it's late, getting delirious...mugging....

Realised alot of titles are actually done by koreans...tenjou tenge anime have credits to koreans(?). I think i saw some manga titles that are from korea. they differed from the traditional korean manga i know, in terms of art. example, Doll. I took 2.5hrs to read school rumble....haiz...at least got through the words. It will be a great series to follow, akin, xiao wan zi. sister smaller than baby sister... FMA.... back to mugging

BTW, wats the diff between Taiwan & HK?! i mean HK betta quality? Haiz... When all the Jap direct imports are so expensive, and hard to find. Besides, Taiwan/HK bootlegs are inferior quality and as the name goes, it is bootlegs also. Yet there's not channel/station/whatever screening anything. Read straits times comic section and watch cheesy anime/cartoons liao. When to comics connection today, they only sell tenjou tenge in sets of vol 1 - vol 12 @$12.50 each. HK edition. I never ever buy HK/Taiwan manga b4, is this the norm price?
