i should have voted no but some how i got my mouse on the null vote. (actually i want to see the result first before i cast my vote. Anyhow in the context Naz was asking, it is no. I have done as beginner making my own mini to mini interconnect and headphone extension cable. Both using "belden" cable. I want to be able to DIYer. Currently, i am still yhinking how to make good of my senn rs85 wireles headphone. The head band broken. It was broken while falling asleep. And on top of that i am thinking to make external (or attached) batteries to power the headphone. The existing battery will only lasted for about 3 hours if fully charged. i use the senn HD414 earpads for my sr80, physically the earpads are more comfortable than the stock pads. The senn earpad just comfortably prees my ear "flat" rather than the stock pad which is trying to encompass my ears inside the pads. On sound wise. the sr80 with senn pads, the bass is more noticeable and this depend on the size of hole which you are making on the senn pads. Whereas on the higher frequency, it will also be affected by the size of hole (as by "physics" if i recalled correctly higher frequency will be more affected if passing through a mass than lower frequency). You can try as suggested by Naz, whuch is by making the holes from a smaller size to a size you want which gives you the best sound. for me, as i already like the sound of the higherand mid frequency of the grado, i go straight to the largest size (simillar size to the speaker). Making the holes is just too complicated for me.

good idea. its has the benefits:_ 1. we got database on DIYers. 2. People can make comments on the particular DIYers., just like buyer/seller feedback. 3. Easy reference for the would be buyers. 4. It also benefit the DIYer as they may become reputable. 5. More potential business for the DIYer. That all i can think of at the moment...

no lah.... i got blurred on the subject but learning to get into it, my four year old daughter is better than me........ Sometime its abit embarassing when the subject is the talk of town and yet you don't know about it....... But i must say the tv guy does an excellent job. About academy fantasia somebody mentioned to me that Astro is making millions of dollars, but one thing i know alot of people 'losing' money via paying the sms.... It just strike me that people in election are talking about 'buying your votes', here you talking about 'paying your votes'......

But of all these thing... who at the end is laughing all the way to bank... telephone provider...the tv station.... IMO all of these thing are gimmicks...... at the end if you don't like the programme just turn it off..... but then again if you turn it off, the programme somehow can be talk of the town and you may be left behind... just like me loh........ On other hand i am not against these programme, it is healthy and the tv guys are really good at their job. which is may be making a lousy singer into an idol even though still lousy singer......i.e IMO.

IMO it is hard to get one can that suit all round purpose i.e music/movie/gaming. I just believe the emphasis is different for each sound reproduction for music/movie/gaming. The grado sr80 is comfortable with senn pad, the original pad is not comfortable physically to my ear. For movie i use the senn wireless rs85. i find it good and practical for movie but for music from a good source other than tv, the sound reproduction is just not right.........

man..... i really pity you.......how can you tolerate this..... i know i can't.... Suggestion by N3w is worthy of consideration. You can mention my use to be marantz cdp which is now almost 15 years and still working perfectly. Your problem will reflect their image and they should take it seriously..... that is if they care enough about their image. If letter is troublesome, send an email.

ah sh*t!!.. i just got myself off from my opera browser programme hick-up, due to my carelessness in updating the software. well actually at first i want to undo the advertisement blocking, which later i found out is by my firewall programme (zonealarm pro). i got the trail pro version which enable me to do the advertisement blocking, but when the trail period expires, i am not able to undo the blocking. Well lucky i manage the trail pro version programme again and manage to unblock the advertisement. Meanwhile i already mess up my opera browser... trying to be an expert on something not expert on.........

It must be one of your unlucky day tohave a brand new marantz giving you problems. I used to have a marantz cdp back in 1990. i use it,if i am not mistaken for about 7 or 8 years.and most of the time i just leave it switch 'on' 24 hours a day.When i got my new cdp leave it for about a year in storage then i trade-in with a friend. It must be a good bargain. Up tonow the cdp still working. The unit is almost 15 years now!!!!!.... Unfortunately i can't recalled the model.I bought it in u.k last time. It is a bulky cdp and quite heavy.

for $24.99 plus shipping is rather alot for me. Though i am interested when you mentioned that "less in-head" sound. This particular aspect of headphone sound reproduction is something for me to get use to and sometime make me to stick to my speaker system. but there are time that i have to use headphone (to keepthe music tomyself and not to disturb others).
