Hm, what is "µ¨¹Ü" and when i used online translator, "»·Â·¸º·´À¡" retuned "ring circuit negative feedback".Wonder what is that as well.

Ahh, I think the K1000 in the pics just for show as the specs of the output is Po=500mW（300ΩRMS）, may not be able drive it..

hey i think this is the prototype of the sonic adventure reality amp that kelly of headfi reviewed a while back. anyway the company seems to be closed already as their website is no longer working.

Excuse me! Since I can't read any chinese characters, can anybody clarify if the third picture in this thread the view from the bottom? Thanks.

 

If so, isn't there going to be any heat issues with the PCB on top or is it dissipated throughout the ribbed casing? And if the case is the former convection from the tubes are a little concerning, I think the latter case is true with the transistors(IC's) hard mounted to the casing.

 

Still SGD250 is very reasonable for a tube amp, IMHO.

Would be good to replace that transformer with a toroidal one. The supplied type is known to get HOT.

 

Also tube rolling would be a major PITA as you have to remove pcb from chassis in order to swap tubes. Yet the design uses the chassis as a heatsink so you might not be able to let it run outside chassis whilst u attempt to tube roll

Not easy to use a toroid on a tube setup, as they need multiple sets of secondary windings, which most toroids don't have.
