lekguan 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2003 N@Z, I'm sure it would provide even more bag for buck in singapore because philips stuff seem to sell cheaper in singapore. I think they manufacture stuff in singapore. Am i wrong?
Blues 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2003 eh I saw someone in eunos mrt wearing it!!! I am quite sure it is the one! Looked at it for a while.. looked exactly the same! I think it should be available in SG!
N@Z 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2003 The amazon user review mentioned about it being easy to break thot... but the foldable headband sure doesn't look really solid. Yep & even in head-fi at least one person already has that problem. Sort of defeats the purpose of it's foldablility. The weak part is the joint to the enclosures. If it is $50 & below it is definitely bang for buck if the sound is equivalent to the Koss KSCs/Senn PXs.
kenshinz 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2003 Hmm.... If I were to get this pair of headphone I would never never bring it out hehe looks too ecky, maybe could super-glue the joint and just use it as a normal pair of headphones

tropicalrips 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2003 tried it today in SLS i prefer these cans then the PX100/200, retail price $59.90 good bang for bucks headphone, sounds better then my ATH-FC7 (same price) has good controlled bass & details, more bright then the FC7
N@Z 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2003 What is the specific difference between the Philips compared with the PX200?
tropicalrips 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2003 the philps had more isolation the px200, i think its because they hav a better fit on my ears, the px200 felt lose, i hav to press them against my head to hear what they sound like the only thing the px200 had over the philips is weight, its lighter. @ $59.90 the Philips would be a better buy, even though they are not as portable as px200
N@Z 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2003 What is the difference sound wise?
kenshinz 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2003 So tropicalrips did you buy it ? And are the joints as flimsy as stated elsewhere on the web ?
tropicalrips 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2003 What is the difference sound wise? to me they sound alike (px200 vs SBCHs900) but i couldn't hear the 200 properly so i could be wrong, also when i tried the px200 it was without the Cmoy, but i did try the 900 without amp too, i can't really tell the difference between the 2 so i guess the 900 is a better buy due to its price in terms of bass...its there just a little behind the porta-pro, i say its a good phone for the techno crowd, with a classical track it sounds as good as the porta, with the px200 i can hear alot of noise from outside the phone no kenshinz i did not buy it just test it at Hung Bros, the joints are not filmsy, they are made of a softer plastic then most phones, i pull off the headphone with 1 hand and it did not break they are also comfortable to wear
