I hated my extigy.

I shorted Creative shares after I bought it >.<

I never liked creative products either. Especially speakers (except those made by cambridge audio of course i.e. microworks, megaworks...) and MP3 players (except njb3). Sound card should be fine. Not very good, but I should say very very value for money.

Saw a USB DAC thatz made in Taiwan, thought u guys might be interested. Anywayz here's the website (http://www.keces.com.tw/%7Ekorping/products/audio/K0305001/K0305001.htm), its in Chinese, so u guys who never paid any attention during Chinese class, beware!! Hope that helped.

I don't really trust those tech magazines/online reviewers reviews.Forumers usually recommend the really good ones=>expensive one.ie m-audio terratec.

 

No that i wan to be a cheapo, get good stuff and pay little but i'm still working on saving for a cdp and amps.mayb a shure e2.hmmm....

augustineRS no problem man, from the price stated on the website given by erickoh, the m-audio Sonica Theatre is going for $195, thats like $15 more than the audigy 2 nx, maybe can consider that too.

ignored my qns.realise it is not.

 

it is usb powered.i'll rather have one that has it own power source so perhaps can hook up to my pcdp.
