PPA : step by step

Recommended Posts

It's been sometime after i got my PPA board, lack of budget, so going to build it in dofferent phase. Now i got my resistor soldered.

Put the resistor in the correct pad.

Use tape to secure the resistors for easy soldering work.

huangyong, care to take a closeup pic of where we need to cut the pcb at the buffer output? Thx. BTW - I am contemplating getting the buffers from glassman over at headfi, what do you all think? Worth the US$40? Or just stick to the HA5003s.

heady, wanna try do it on veroboard? haha..

i think the glassman buffer is good, but that price tag including shipping is not cheap. btw, is it a kit or complete set?

if you really want to get it, may be can organised a mass order to save shipping cost.

Will find out more about the glassman buffer when he starts shipping. Been waiting for glassman to announce it.

Here's the pic. the output pad is connected (fault) to the ground, so seperate the pad and the ground track by cutting using penknife.

the pad is connected both top and bottom, so pls take note of this.

pls make sure that that is NO connection between the output and the ground, if not it will FRY all your buffer.
