i use schottky diode for the input protection, hope it's alright. coz that's the only good diode i have.

 

1 more question is what voltage of zener diode shall i use for the LED part. is 7.5V enough?

Here's the pic. the output pad is connected (fault) to the ground, so seperate the pad and the ground track by cutting using penknife.

 

the pad is connected both top and bottom, so pls take note of this.

pls make sure that that is NO connection between the output and the ground, if not it will FRY all your buffer.

Pricewise, there isn't much difference between the Solens and the Evox polyprop I used. I don't see why not, go for it.

I remember clearly those poly cap are use for power supply on V1.0. I doubt they change much to sound but anyway...... Nice pics!!!

Thinking of giving up this project, anyone interested?

most of the component soldered except 3 x tle2426, 2 x 1uF caps.

will post complete photo soon.

 

it's lying there since few months ago, coz it's too expensive to continue this project. you can either buy the board from me, or request to build the complete amp for nominal fees (just want to get rid of unfinished project)
