Hi, did you read the replies given in headfi? What is it that you need help with?

Ah... Yes, it is the same except almost everyone leaves out R1. Digi01 has a nice layout for CMOY which you can also look at. Search for it on Google.

No big deal, I burned many TLEs by forgetting whether + is red or is - red? This is the cost of experience, so persevere. biggrin.gif

One more question:

Polyester caps have no polarity ?

Polyester and polypropylene caps do not have polarity.

Bah.... I don't know what is the problem... my LED goes off when I inserted my OPAMP and teh opamp heats up. no.giflol.gif

Question:

Does the +ve side of the power supply go to the -ve of the OPAMP?

 

 

EDIT: Oh yea... Guess where I got wrong....

 

 

 

 

 

I connected the +ve to the -ve side of the system. JUST LIKE THE LAST TIME... rolleyes.giflol.gifwhistling.gif

You can buy JRC4556 real cheap for doing such destructive test... lol.gif

Get from where Jason? I also prone to mistakes like this, especially at 1am in the morning.
