Brandon.lim 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2005 No, this is not an advertisement, but merely to bring your attention to something that could perhaps improve your music for a relative pittance. I have not tried it myself but online reviews look good. If the performance can be substantially improve for only $460, why not? What can $460 buy in Hi-fi these days? Mackie 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2005 (edited) What is high end? Price or performance? What is audiophile standards? What U can hear or what others think? Come to terms with yourself before going into extensive tweaks and mods. $460 plus the cost of your Marantz player eg CD6000ose will amount to something close to $1000. Choices are abound at this price bracket these days. Even Marantz CD17MKIII costs lesser than that. However, its really feasible to those who have older players and wish to close the gap in the technological sense. TS Lim's work are well liked and proven within the circle of audio hobbyists. Another who has emerged recently is EffectiveAudio. Edited April 22, 2005 by Mackie
