Congratulations again.

I see by the link in your signature you have a Kevin Gilmore headamp. It looks very unique what version is it? Did you build it yourself?

I built my Gilmore amp before antness started building his selling gilmore amp. smile.gif Though even when is selling his amps when I was planning for the Gilmore amp, I would still DIY it.

For the price (audiogon.com), the TMC yellow cables are very nice. Though is my only "audiophile" quality ICs so I can't compare it to anything else. But people in audioasylum have been using these cables and other cables so you might find a better comparison. smile.gif

Hi Jarthel,

Good work on your Gilmore. Wish I could do one myself, but my diy knowledge has limited me to opamps.

May I ask where did you get your chassis? Saw a similar one at Larry hifi, but it was very expensive.

And do you have any good source for transitors. Saw the schematics of the Gilmore needs the 2SK389 and 2SJ109. They are very difficult to find, search a whole of Sim Lim tower also cannot find.

Thanks.

JT

Well I bought the chassis from THLaudio.com in Taiwan. They are a premier audio DIY electronic part source.

As for the transistors, I can get them locally (Australia). The cost would be whatever the store charges to me plus postage to Singapore. You need to pay in advance of course. smile.gif Postage shouldn't be alot as the package willl be very light.
