N@Z 0 Report post Posted June 19, 2003 This is your locale's Official Sennheiser distributor. Try contacting them. Oh, not completely OT but they should also have the Senn HD414 yellow earpads for the Grado earpad mod.

lengcm 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2003 Any alternatives besides the pads offered by Sennheiser? I have tried listen to my HD600 with out the pads and it sounds pretty good. However dust and hair may get inside.
Rameish 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2003 N@Z, I think you got your prices wrong. It's at least twice that.
N@Z 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2003 Someone PMed me from Head-Fi a Malaysian wanting to know where I got them from. So I advised his local distibutor. He was able to get it at SG$15 per pair I forgot his ID as I didn't keep the PMs. Maybe they had spare stock lying around which they wanted to get rid off. I got mine around twice the price as well. You are referring to the sponge covering over your HD600 drivers. I believe the sponge once removed can be replaced with lady's Nylon stocking. I haven't tried it as when I did it on my KSC-35 I didn't like the sound but I might try it again for the Sony 7506 as I prefer using the Beyer ear pads which although more comfortable is sadly sounding a little darker & the mids recessed. The stock pleather ear pads make the mids sound better without sacrificing the bass too much but I find it less comfortable & makes the sound a tad bright.
