squalle 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2006 (edited) socket u go get either from well audio or koba koba being the cheapest ever farnell? within these coming 3 days ( stated to be 4-6 days) high end trafo? hmm get even more expensive one then, a torroidal! hahaa (here: http://sg.farnell.com/jsp/endecaSearch/par...SKU=4334267&N=0 S$25.81) but again, there's no point getting high end trafo. May some1 enlighten me in wat high end trafo provides? if EM waves leakage, mine has no problem at all. clean signal at the output Edited January 2, 2006 by squalle

squalle 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2006 efficiency. hmm does that affect SQ or just ur PUB bill? 7pin socket, if you've got it off koba, I think you can just swap. try to ask why keep stock when you're not sure about whether you're going to use it in the future comparison of millet and SOHA is still not out yet. darn
squalle 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2006 seems like all torroidal that's around 6VA rated are OOS in farnell so yeah, u're stuck with that dagnall or this one (even looks neater) http://sg.farnell.com/jsp/endecaSearch/par...SKU=4383904&N=0 plastic encased, PCB mountable too mine will never be haha. Kippei 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2006 For the voltage regulator for 12v, you using lm317t?
squalle 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2006 for op-amp supply: LM317 and LM337 hence I've got dual supply for heater: use LM337, well LM317 will do too if you know where to modify (just reverse the diodes (the two 1N4002)) not really sure why they chose 337 (negative supply instead of positive, just a heater anyway)
