Where to get 2134 or 2227 op-amps?

Hi guys, I just managed to get the last piece of the CMOY 2 pcb from tropicalrips. Went down to Koba earlier, managed to get all the parts except the 2 OPA2134 op-amps. Wondering if anyone here can share where I can get a couple of these or even better, the OPA2227s?

Farnell sold the 2134 in the past, should still be selling them now. Or you can order them thru Federal in SLT level 2. They also order from Farnell but you don't need to go way out to collect them.

farnell delivers for free for SGD30 and above order (excl GST)

 

or if below, they charge like 5 bux IIRC

still cheaper than going to federal to order, paying MRT and bus, or ERP, petrol and parking

and the convenience of ordering from home, delivered to anywhere u want them to (within singapore of course)

 

 

pricing of OPA2134 on ebay is not cheap btw. just in case you've got the idea to search there

One more question, can I directly replace the 2134s with the 2227s without any changes to the parts list for the CMOY 2?

Yes, you can and should. IMO, the 2227's are better sounding than the 2132/ 2134/ 2604's.

How to get one delivered free to your door.

2. Search for the part number, in this case OPA227

3. On the page that appears, click request free samples accordingly

4. Make a new account there, use real details, as this is a legitimate company

5. Click Fed Ex priority shipping(ITS FREE!)

6. You will get a conformation email, with a tracking number

 

I ordered mine on Thursday and it will come tomorrow(monday) and im in England!
