First and foremost, THX is not an enhancement but a certification (George Lucas and his company) that reaffirms optimal sound and picture quality. afbug 0 Report post Posted May 19, 2006 Yess! But if you add or impose a certain citeria to tame the brightness or make it sound better, isn't it an enhancement? Anyways IMHO, i dun believe in buying a THX certified system for home use. I believe the room needs the cert as well. As for those hoax, stay well clear of them.
