I think 616 is based on the ER6i while the 716 is based on 4P.

to get the im716 to performs at its best,you would oso need a amp as it is quite hard to drive it......

yup... tt the mod i'm referin to... i haf down tt to all my sony ex series and streetstyle series b4 i venture into IEM.. hee... so i'm very confidence of doing it... but i will wait till my im716 cord gt rip off frm the vol pod b4 i do it (the wait is long neh)... hee... if i do i will oso do a layer of heat shirk over the white cable too..
