aaron-xp 0 Report post Posted August 30, 2006 (edited) http://www.engadget.com/2006/08/30/singapo...s-end/#comments "Singapore to have nationwide WiFi by year's end" Wow... Isn't that fast, as in the implementation of the plan? Also, why is engadget faster at reporting our local news than the local media (unless i didn't see the article published). heady 0 Report post Posted August 30, 2006 but need $? You can be sure of that!!! When it happens, I am sure free hot-spots like MacDonald will fold and us "pay and pay" people will then have to "pay and pay" more.
scanfiend 0 Report post Posted August 30, 2006 (edited) I thought news of the Wi-Fi access and the fibre optic network was published by the Straits Times and its supplement, Digital Times a few months ago. All part of the IT masterplan by the Gahmen Can you say gigabit access baby?! In fact, it was discussed in dslreports.com before degenerating into the usual Ang Moh criticism of the political system here Edited August 30, 2006 by scanfiend
