variablefeedback 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2007 (edited) Simple answer is you can by using a auto-transformer ... anyway, you can use this 220V amp in Singapore, which has 230Vac. Difference of 10% is quite a big deal ..... but I think the rectifiers in the amp can deal with it. The real big deal will be the shift in the biasing point of the tubes. We at SG may not be able to hear what someone is hearing on 220V, that's all. Anyway, the other way out is to pass that amp to some transformer winder and ask him to wind a similair one with 230V input. EDITED: 240V to 230V .... thanks to HEADY for pointing out the error. ok the darkvoice 336i china machines will work alright with 230v but cannot hit above 230v otherwise dangerous stuff will happen.
